Wondering if anyone else has had trouble with NursingCAS for their applications? I've had all my transcripts in the system since October, couldn't understand why they weren't calculating my GPA. Made multiple calls, they told me essentially that the application was fine, be patient.
This week I get a message that they are missing a transcript that is shown on my application as being received. It took me two calls to find out that they put someone else's transcript from the same school on my file, and they don't know what they did with my transcript! If I had known this in October, when they first made the mistake, I would have had plenty of time to re-send the transcript before my Feb. 1 deadline for several programs. Now I am scrambling to get them my transcript with less than two weeks left; after they receive my transcript, they say it could take five more weeks to process my GPA. When I asked them if they would rush mine since it was their mistake that caused this delay, I got nowhere. I'm really ****** that this organization could screw up my application so badly!
Anyone else run into similar problems?

They are a horrible company and they too have affected my future because they lost transcripts, fail at offering even the basics in good customer service skills and they are advertising schools that do not use their service. People are paying this company and thinking they are applying to certain schools when they are not. Any school of nursing should seriously demand that they practice better business ethics and enhance their customer service or consider separating themselves from this shady business. I submitted a BBB complaint and a Federal Trade Commission complaint too. They caused me to miss the deadline for UTHSCSA even though I sent them the same transcript FOUR times! Please don't be discouraged but I do hope that you consider filing a complaint as well.

Wow that's horrible. I guess I lucked out that they did mine correctly. Hopefully they get it fixed for you. Best of luck!

[color=#ff0099]i cannot believe they want every course listed. i have 4 degrees and over 200 + credit hours spanning 20 years. they want every one listed and tell me they will reject my application if i leave off one class. i was applying to texas tech for the fnp program and i was told even though i just graduated the rn to bsn program a year ago and they have all my transcripts that i have to re-purchase them and send them to this place.... i am in the process of finding a masters program without the nursing cas application ....im very disgusted
Sorry to hear that!! I do not understand how any school wants to be associated w/this company. The data entry requirements have zero added value and then to add insult to injury, they fail at presenting any customer service skills. Good luck txspadequeenRN!

NursingCAS makes me so angry! I was annoyed enough when my school wanted me to send multiple copies of all my transcripts but on top of that I have to type out every class? They messed up my transcripts too, me and my best friend had to send them 3 times... It's not free either to send those transcripts. If there's an application fee why can't they use that money and pay someone type in all my classes for me?

Nursing CAS is a terrible company. I had everything in 2 weeks before the deadline yet my application cannot be submitted to the committee until they "verify" my transcripts. You've got to be kidding me. So while others are receiving acceptances... I'm waiting the 2-5 weeks for some low life to calculating my gpa. Just look at my transcripts for crying out loud! I'll calculating them myself if It's a problem. Customer service members are extremely rude and could care less. Filing a complaint and would encourage others to do so as well. This is unacceptable.
To calculate* autocorrect snuck in on me!

I’ve also had the same problems as stated above. Two other ridiculous issues are:
1. You get e-mailed information related to every school affiliated with nursing CAS when changes are made to their admissions process. (even schools in other countries)
2. You have to pay Nursing CAS in addition to the schools you’re applying too.

Terrible and clunky software. This is an awful 'service' that employs awful people. Everyone speak up and let your schools know that you're sick of nursingcas. They bait you into paying $150 for data entry of information that they already have? How insane are these people?!

My first time using NursingCAS and after paying and submitting my application, I get an email from one of the schools that they don't use the service. The NursingCAS customer service rep talked to me like I didn't have a right to be inquiring about the issue. I was told essentially that my application has been sent to the school and it was part of the "admission process" if the school chooses to accept the information sent from NursingCAS or not. So now I'm left with no other option but to start a new application directly with the school, pay again, send them transcripts and recommendation letters with less than a week to the deadline! Plus the money that I paid could not be refunded.
This type of service is unacceptable and something needs to be done. Its unfortunate that I'm posting this two years later than the OP and it seems nothing has been done.

I had never even heard of this company but just looked it up. Looks very shady if you asked me as they haven't updated their website since 2013. I would submit directly to the schools and not waste my money on it.
