Nursing Students: What is your GPA now that youve taken a couple of nursing classes?

Published

Hi everyone! What is your gpa now that youve started nursing school? Did it go up, down, stay the same? Also, are your nursing classes easier or harder than you expected? What was the hardest nursing class you have taken thus far? Thanks for answering!

I was a 4.0 student before nursing school just finished my 1st semester of nursing school and now have a 3.91. our school has a critical thinking class (2 credits) that i got a 89% and that was the hardest class i took in my first semester we also had foundations/skills and of course clinical.

I entered with a 4.0, now have a 3.96 due to an A-. The classes have been what I expected difficulty wise but I'm coming into my last semester which is the hardest so we shall see how my GPA fairs after this.

I'm in my second (and last semester) as a senior in a BSN program. I started with a 3.89 as a sophomore and now have a 3.94. It has been an absolute rollercoaster. My 1st semester as a junior (also the 1st semester of upper division courses) was brutal because we were finally exposed to NCLEX like exams. My second semester as a junior was a breeze but my 1st semester as a senior was crazy! The classes were not any more difficult, there was just way too much busy work (I was also taking 18 credit hours!). I've heard that this last semester is not too bad with only 13 hours but I'm still kind of anxious given my experience with previous semesters.

Before officially starting nursing school, I was on the President's list. After fundamentals I'm on the Dean's list! So excited :)
