Hi all, I have a problem, my white tennis shoes from Target just aren't cutting it anymore, my feet ache SO bad when I get off from work it actually is begining to affect my mobility for the rest of the night/day. I was wondering are there any specialty nursing shoes made for men? I wear a size 13 which can be difficult to find in just regular shoes much less specialty shoes. And honestly I'm to the point that ANY kind of shoe that would make my feet feel better in the long run would be worth a try. Any help and suggestions would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

I spend $$$ on my feet and wear Dexters mostly. There are a couple of others I wear as well but you just have to go and try what is best for you. And of course spend the $$$ it is worth it.

I've always found Dansko clogs to be very comfortable - and they make them for men. Lots of professional chefs wear them, too.

Skecher makes a Working Shoes type line; I buy the women's version but pretty sure they make a men's model of the same thing too.

Any atheletic shoe that's predominantly white works for me.

Okay, thanks you all, I will look into the shoes you've suggested :)

I wear Birkenstock insoles in ALL my shoes and they work great! There are different styles for differnt shoes, sneakers, boots, etc. and they last for years. Good luck!

I rotate between my Nike SHOX and my Krocs. They're both really comfortable. My feet never hurt, even after 12 hours of being on my feet. The Krocs do make my feet sweat a little more than I'd like.... SHOX are great if you don't mind the price tag. IMHO, a small investment is worth not having your feet killing you by the end of the shift.

New Balance walking/jogging shoes work for me. $50.

I swallowed my pride and purchased a pair of Crocs after my $120 pair of Nike Shox failed to do the job... They are a little fruity looking IMO but my feet, knees and back thank me.

I wear SHOX, Crocs, and Birkenstocks. I don't really care what they look like (crocs and birkenstocks) as long as my feet don't hurt.
