I am starting my nursing program this fall and wanted to see if anyone had any recommendations for supplies! I should get a list at orientation in 2 weeks but I wanted to see if anyone had any suggestions for supplies that are not so common that were helpful during your time during nursing school. Open to all suggestions!

I've gotten a few side things - study guides, help aid books that a few friends suggested, some good apps, lab value guides(a few of my new grad and second year friends have massively suggested memorizing lab values now, a pharm book, a pneumonic book, BUT don't go nuts until you know what helps you.
When I was in an LVN program last year, what helped me a lot during clinicals was having my own pulse oximetry device, thermometer with slip covers, and alcohol swabs! Can't even tell you how much those saved my butt during clinicals.
Good luck! And CONGRATS!
thank you so much!

The WhiteBoard clipboard. You can find it on amazon. This will make clinicals SO much easier. Go look. It's amazing. :) Also about a million pen lights. They vanish faster than you'd think. A rolling backpack if you're going to be using real books instead of e-books. The weight of those books adds up quickly.
