  1. Did you submit all of the documents online or mail them in also? I have heard of people doing both online and mailing or just online. Trying to figure out the fastest way to get my endorsement as I am also applying from PA-->NJ. Thanks!
  2. thank you so much!
  3. I am starting my nursing program this fall and wanted to see if anyone had any recommendations for supplies! I should get a list at orientation in 2 weeks but I wanted to see if anyone had any suggestions for supplies that are not so common that were helpful during your time during nursing school. Open to all suggestions!
  4. I took it twice (for my own and I didn't take it at aria) and the first time I got a 63 and the second time a 62. My gpa is a 3.3 and I was accepted. When are you scheduled to take the test?
  5. congrats on your acceptance! I have decided to decline their offer and went with Aria's offer, best of luck to both of you guys starting the program with St. Francis!
  6. Okay sounds like a lot but hey it's nursing school! Now are you allowed to take Penn State classes with the nursing courses or they are their own separate rotation? For example the way my first semester is all I will have to take is Nursing 110 since I already took anatomy that it is laid out on the course plan, so I was hoping I could take some of the Penn State requirements with that! For the grant do you have to apply separately or is it included in the FASFA? I just got my financial aid packet yesterday and was awarded for the Pell grant and Federal Direct loan, but no PHEAA And you said 8-9 semesters is that for the diploma only or for the BSN? I know the BSN is an extra term so I'm hoping for 7 terms for diploma then the extra term for the BSN! Ugh this stuff is so stressful and it's only beginning haha!
  7. Hi Faithe nice to meet you! How are you liking the program in general so far? I am so nervous/excited to start! What is your schedule ususally like so we know what to expect. I am coming in with all of my sciences and general pre-reqs out of the way so I am hoping I can be done in 7 terms! Are you staying at Aria to do the Penn State BSN program? How does that work? Sorry to ask so many questions!! Do you get to pick your classes at orientation? Thanks in advance!! Also are you working through the program and if so how many hours do you/other classmates suggest is do-able while going through the program.
  8. no problem let me know if you have any more questions after you attend the open house! I have heard from many people they have a great program and the teachers really want the students to succeed. So nervous to start! In my orientation they said only 65 students were accepted so it's very competitive.
  9. I was in your similar situation I got accepted to Bucks (which is on probation due to not enough students passing the NCLEX) which worried me. Yes I could study on my own to pass, but I have also heard that the instructors arn't the best there and don't really help students - which is opposite of how Aria presented its self, so I chose Aria and will be starting in the fall for a number of reasons being, high pass rate, high student retention rate and the feel of when I went there, it felt more of a family feeling like they really care and want the students to succeed. From there I will get my diploma in nursing but in 6 months after I will receive my BSN from Penn State with their collaboration. And bonus* you only pay Aria tuition for the RN-BSN with Penn State.
  10. hi! i am starting Aria in the Fall and previously attended an info session before applying also - I found it helpful in the application process, but as far as how the program is laid out you will find out more once you're accepted. For the Teas I would take it now before it changes and definitely buy the study guide book. You don't have to take the test at Aria but it is worth it since you're spending the 100$ on the application fee it is included in that.. the test alone taken else where is 90 something so it pays for itself! The only thing I learned that sucks is that their tuition is a set price no matter what pre-reqs you have taken.. so if you were planning to take extra classes to get them out of the way, I would wait since you'll be paying for them at the school no matter what.
  11. I was accepted to Aria Health school of nursing and Bucks County Community ADN program. While St Francis was my first option when I first applied (back in August mind you) almost 8 months of waiting and going back and fourth left me extremely discouraged and worried that if this is what their application process is like imagine what being in the program will be. I have a friend who is in the program now and says that they are disorganized also.. decisions!
  12. I was accepted for the Fall of 2016 also.. when did you apply and when did you hear? I started my application process back in August and just got my phone call today! I have been accepted to two other schools also, so I am still waiting to make my decision.
  13. hey gina have you heard from Aria?
