nursing and paperwork; what paperwork?

Published

i'm hearing alot of ppl talk about tons of paperwork in nursing, what are they talking about? i've known ppl to drop out of nursing (including a relative) because they said it's too much paperwork. are they talking about those care plans where all you have to do is write the pt personal info. and then your nutritional recommendation? that doesn't seem that hard.

Alright folks, you're talking to an OP whose stated Nursing Experience is "I need some" and Nursing Specialty is "Babysitting." How hard can it be to figure that one out??

Not to mention this:

"watch tv, crack jokes, play pranks, prank calls, sleeping and being lazy"

What exactly is the OP doing on the site and why is he allowed to continue here? I thought the site was for nurses, NPs, nursing students, maybe people who are wanting to be nurses, maybe others like RT,PT,OT,CRNA---not moron who just wants to be annoying! Really? no paperwork in nursing? Ummmm yeah the what? 4,000 nurses here have no idea what we are talking about right people???? I don't think so. Get a clue OP! LOL --OP please enlighten us as to your purpose for being here.

As a nursing student who is still getting the hang of paperwork, I have one thing to say... If you don't know, don't judge!

I think the OP has gotten what he wants - he hasn't returned to this thread and you nurses have been very kind with your helpful explanations.

Thanks.
