There really is no way to tell what the job market will be like if and when you graduate. It may be better or it may be worse. A couple of years ago, people were swearing that this job market would be getting better...and it hasn't happened yet.

Areas that may offer good job prospects now may be dead zones in a few years. A while back, it was Texas that was the job hot spot. Now, it's North Dakota. Next year or even a few months from now, who knows where it will be?

Do you want to start a thread stating I have a lot of questions can someone help me? Then you can ask all your questions at once. It will get you more responses and won't flood the feed. And then you can see different view point in one thread. We are happy to help you.

Where do I post the thread? ?!

Start a new one but instead of starting multiple ones start just one and ask all your questions there. Maybe the general section. The mods will move it accordingly.

everyone is worried about getting a job. In life there are no guarantees. Nursing has been affected as much as other professions. As you have barely started your nursing journey.....concentrate on good grades and the rest follow. Being a good nurse is not a rapid process....nor is finding a good job. If you are concerned about paying for school and employment after....you might want to check out this site....HRSA...Scholarship Program

Your question should be: How can I get hired? What are my chances of getting hired? This is not 2008 anymore...
