Nursing Implications for Fetal Alcohol Syndrome

hi, i am new to this site but i was wondering i am an LPN student and i am doing a report on Fetal Alcohol Syndrome (FAS) and was wondering if anyone knew what the nursing implications would be for a patient (baby,child,teen, and adult) that has FAS?????

Does your school have access to CINHAL? It's a great database that will enable you to find peer reviewed nursing journals to give your paper credible information. If not, google for journal articles, sometimes you can find them without having to pay to view them.

SAMHSA (substance abuse and mental health services administration) has tons of resources. I remember taking a class on at risk students and we watched a great DVD that the instructor got from them profiling families and what they went through. Everything is FREE. Not sure how much nursing info in particular you would find, but it's worth googling the site.
