Nursing Diagnosis

Hello nurses,

I need a list of Neonatal nursing diagnosis. I have to do 3 care plans and I don't know much about newborns.

Why do the moderators let this thread continue. This is not what this website should represent..... a bunch of bickering. Very sad we treat others like this. If I agree to help someone, it is not because of my ego, but because I want to help. I was a student at one time that use to ask a lot of questions. please close this thread, IMO, it gives this site a bad image!

I really think it's important to differentiate between giving answers to a student, and guiding them to finding their own answers.

Ladies and gentlemen, we seem to have some seriously heated opinions on this subject. The girl asked a question. As rational adults, those of us that would like to respond to them should be able to and those that choose not to don't have to. Have you ever heard the saying that the only stupid question is the one you didn't ask. Some of us would be willing to respond to the question not to boost our own egos, but out of the desire to help. Remember, we are nurses. We care for others for a living. Even if one feels that it is detrimental to respond to student questions, it does not mean everyone does.

By the way, I have absolutely no peds experience and no pertinent info to share on that subject, but would like to encourage student to continue her research and don't be discouraged. Good luck on your assignment.

If I new it would be such a bother I wouldn't even post. I am 99% of the time a very nice person but some miserable people enjoy making other people miserable, overloaded with negative energy. So I got out of character. I am so used to helping people and I also made the mistake of "assuming" that everybody is nice and helpful. I am okay if people don't want to help a student, but please don't post at all.

It's so easy to say" check out NANDA Diagnosis" without saying so many negative things about a person that they don't know.

I just can't imagine being a nurse, doctor, or a dentist and not helping others. I will not do anybody's homework but I will help.

Well sad to say, but get use to it because on the unit it's the same bickering, backstabbing, nurses eating their young, arrogant, big ego nurses that get their trip by making others miserable!
