Hey guys Lisa is probably the secretary of whatever that I was told is suppose to sign off last and then u get the reward!! Good luck sounds like u all are set!

Hi all

My contract was signed as well on August 21st but I still haven't received the participant email yet. Im super excited though and a little less worried but still wont be completely relaxed until I get that email.

Congrats you guys.

Specializes in ICU.

Submitted my documents on the 10th and Lisa signed on the 27th. A little less stressed, is just a matter of time now...

Is there anyone whose contract hasn't been signed? I got my finalist e-mail on the 6th. :sorry:

Does anyone know if you can apply for the NHSC next spring if you receive this award? I am planning on going for my DNP after I graduate from BSN and was just wondering...

mocapoca, Did you ever get a definitive answer regarding this topic? That is my plan as well. My ABSN program is only 15 months, then I'd like to be applying for DNP schools after I take my test which means that I'd want to roll straight through basically. I feel like they should be able to. I wonder if you can just extend your award. I'm only using one year of award, basically. Perhaps I can utilize all four years by having it cover DNP training!

I just started back for my 3rd semester this week so I haven't had a chance to ask yet. But yes that would be ideal. We are in the same situation too. My school has a DNP program that i can apply to after the bsn as well. But if we can't do NHSC then i will be looking for other options too.

Mine is not signed :(. I sent my W4 and verification on Aug 7. Worrrrriiiiiied

I sent my completed forms on the 10th and my contract was signed by Lisa yesterday. I looked through posts from last year and this is the same person that signed those contracts.

I also am ''under review'' and haven't received a credit check either. I was forced to accept a federal loan so I can start my program in September. I was really hoping to get this scholarship and avoid loans, but I guess it just wasn't meant to be. Congrats to all those who got it! You guys are going to make some awesome nurses someday. :)

I have not had a credit check or an email yet. I did start school this week, so at least now I have a ton of reading to focus on instead of stressing out over hearing back from the scholarship. I am just planning on being delightfully surprised if I get it at this point :) .

I haven't been on here in a while. I turned my paperwork in on time and was signed by Lisa on the 27th. I'm also hoping to extend my contract

Does anyone know if there's a possibility that a finalist doesn't get awarded? I read over the contract and it stated, "The Secretary shall sign only those contracts submitted by applicants who are selected for participation", which had me stressed out since I haven't receive a countersignature and I turned my documents in on time on the 6th. It will sucks having gotten this far and then not be awarded. Trying my hardest to stay positive!
