Congratulations!!! I graduate next month and opted to have my application considered for the September cohort. I hope to hear something in June.

I was under the assumption that they would take my GPA from all 4 school, add them together then divide by 4, giving my overall GPA. Not how GPA is calculated. So when you talk to these schools about your situation make sure you get someone to evaluate your transcripts as well, if possible.

Has anyone received a clear answer about how we're supposed to proceed with the invoice form/other reasonable costs, etc? HRSA will give you forms to give to your school with exactly what should be included for payment if tuition and certain fees. They actually layout which fees are covered and which are not. As for the other reasonable costs, HRSA calculates that themselves so tour school didn't bed to submit anything regarding that.

Got my participant email. There were two emails one stating I need to log in right away and another stating I have a message from the Bureau of Health Workforce. When I logged my account had been converted to the participant portal.

Submitted my documents on the 10th and Lisa signed on the 27th. A little less stressed, is just a matter of time now...

Does anyone know if you can apply for the NHSC next spring if you receive this award? I am planning on going for my DNP after I graduate from BSN and was just wondering... Not sure since you will be under a service obligation already. No harm in trying though.

I thought it was in the application somewhere but I don't recall, I'm sure that is something that can be clarified and adjusted before they send out your stipend. Also, my program starts in January, so my summer class was a program related course, not a pre-req, I don't think they pay for those.

I read in the application info that the award year is from July 1, 2015 to June 30, 2016. If you were in summer courses as of July 1st your stipend begins as of that month. If not your stipend begins the month you begin the fall semester.

Hi, I'm me to this site. I also applied for this scholarship. I have learned more from you guys in the last few days than in the months since I submitted my application. I got my finalist email on the 8th and the deadline for submitting my additional forms is the 15th. My question is to those whose deadline has already passed, did you status change? Thanks.
