Any large office supply store should suffice, e.g. Staples, Office Max, Office Depot, etc. That's where I found mine. They even had those aluminum clipboard cases to be used on construction sites.

Walmart sells nice clipboard with storage for about $9. They're not too big or bulky.

I got one at Walmart for about $12. Storage for papers (not too big) and a mini calculator at the top.

Just get a regular old clipboard. My class sold nursing clipboards (with all sorts of information printed on them) as a fundraiser for our pinning ceremony.
It works great as a clipboard but I have yet to see anybody referring to the information on it. I don't.

I use a metal memo sized clipboard. It fits in my pocket. The clipboard really isn't that important. I found that a bulky clipboard was more of a hindrance than a help.

One of my classmates has a metal folding one that fits in her pocket. She loves it!

Just make sure you can have it. In our program they don't want us to lugging them into and out of patient rooms because of infection control.
