If I wanted to move up to Canada and take a job there, what route would I take after I get my BSN?

Get work a permit, or citizenship
Apply to write the CNRE, pass the CNRE, apply for your license, get your license and apply for jobs.
Good luck!
Where are you now?
Awesome, thank you! I've been in Atlanta for the last few years, but I'm from New York originally. I've always had the desire to move and have some family up there.

The first step would be to get accepted to a school and then get a student visa. After you get your BScN, you would be able to apply for jobs , Nurses come under the NAFTA agreement so it would not be that difficult.
A student visa is not difficult to get but keep in mind that you will be paying the highest in tution as a foriegn student.
My mother is a retired Canadian Immigration officer, she taught me well.

I don't intend to go to school in Canada... I'm already enrolled in Atlanta. I was looking for for what tests/boards I'd have to pass after I finish my degree program. Thank you, though!

1) Apply to the licensing board for the province that you want to work in.
2) The board will assess whether your qualifications are equivalent to the Canadian education for a new grad
3) The board sends you a yes or no on whether your qualifications match (you may also be asked to send in more information in the form of a baccalaureate equivalency table (BET)
4) If your qualifications are transferable you are eligible to sit the CRNE
5) You take the CRNE and pass
6) You have to get a work permit and provide a Canadian police check
7) Once you have satisfied all the requirements you can then register with the board
I just applied to the CNO as an IEN and am awaiting results from the CRNE to see what the next step is eg. work permit and provide a Canadian police check
Good luck

What's the point in applying for a Canadian license if you don't have a work permit?
I have a Florida license but I gave up my US green card when I returned to Canada. Just because I have a FL license doesn't mean I can go back and work in the US.

It is easy to obtain the NAFTA-TN visa for US citizens. You pay $50 annually to renew your working permit. Just pass the CRNE (eh).

For the love of Dawg! Canadian nurses are governed by Colleges NOT Boards.
At least get the names right!

i will go to canada as an immigrant soon. I already have my permanent resident visa. I will stay in Ontario. I want to know what are the things I need to do to apply for CNRE? What do I have to accomplish while I am still here in the Philippines. How will I apply? Do I need to apply/register in CNO first? How will i do that? Please help me. I don't know what to do.
You can apply to the CNO in advance, they will assess you, see my previous reply on this thread. The application pack is available online, it took me 6 months to be assessed so start as soon as you can!!
