Should I just buy the books that I think I'll use again during school and just rent the books like
Total Healthy Aging for my Nursing Care for the Aging Adult class
And maybe the Patho Book also??

Yes, I would buy the books that you know for a fact that you will use again, maybe even books you think will be useful after you graduate (maybe just to refer back to something once you are a nurse). I would rent the others. You might want to rent the specialty books (OB, Peds, etc) as you will probably only need them for that rotation.
I wish I would have rented more books, I must have spent around a thousand dollars on books throughout my nursing school career and I only got a little over a hundred $ back after selling them. Hadn't even opened quite a few of those books!

There are many books I wish I would have rented like OB, Psych, etc. Your patho book is a good book to purchase though. I am also constantly referencing my patho book for clinical packets, and for classes in general. However, I did not keep the patho/pharm book from my patho class. I use a different book that I find much easier to understand and is more helpful.
