He is nothing more than an empty suit. His ego is driving this whole mess, and whatever speech he reads to congress will not change the way most (250 million) people feel about his healthcare "reform".

...In short, President Obama will say whatever he has said before, with great brio and exquisitely turned phrases, and will not say anything to upset the oh so delicate sensibilities of the medical-industrial complex.

Of course the lap dog media will laud it as the most important speech since the gettysburg address. The guy couldn't speak on his own even if he used his own crayons to write it. Wonder if he'll mention his bigot the green jobs czar acting stupidly?

Obama claims that all of the waste and fraud in existing federal health care programs will pay for the 900 billion dollar price tag of his proposed health care reforms. Hmmmm... waste and fraud in a government-run program? Why do we need a new program to eliminate waste and fraud in an existing program? I guess nobody has ever thought to eliminate the 900 billion dollars worth of waste in medicare. After the speech, I saw Obama's shill-in-chief, David Axlerod being interviewed. He claimed that all nurses and doctors in the US supported Obama's plan. Not hardly.

I am all for healthcare reform. I watched and listened intently to President Obama's speech on healthcare, and love love love what he said. I am in one hundred percent agreement with the way he explained healthcare reform. I don't care if anyone agrees or not. I've never in my life been a "follower" or one to be bothered by standing alone when I feel something is right to support, and healthcare reform as President Obama explained it was right on target, and wayyyyyyyyyyyyyy overdue in America.

I did NOT hear him say the only healthcare reform would be "government owned", and if any heard that...they really didn't care to lend the speech one hundred percent of their hearing power. Listen to it again. "Government Option Healthcare Plans" are another option for those without health insurance, and for those who simply cannot afford the ones of "free choice". Anyone who has been in nursing a very long time, especially inpatient nursing in the civilian sector knows full well the "division in healthcare" based on "what insurance you have or don't have" and "how much money you have to make yourself smell good to the ones you seek care from. If you didn't know this to be a reality in America for years and years and years now.........you've been living in a plastic bubble.

At any point, did you hear the windbag-in-chief mention how he would pay for this mess? Check this mornings issue of the New York Times. They didn't hear it either.
