Nursing acceptance letter to Chicago City Colleges(Truman, Daley, or Malcolm X)

Did any prenursing students receive acceptance letters from any of Chicago City Colleges yet? I have not receive mine and just trying to get an idea.

hey everyone, who got accepted into nursing programs, we had until today to send an email confirming our seat which i did last week, did anyone get a confirmation email saying their email was received? i sent another one asking for a confirmation, but havent received one back, is there anyone we can call and who?

@ Kerry27. I just checked my email. I haven't received anything back. I alsoreplied last week. I think they are probly going to wait and send out a mass email. When I was accepted in the lpn program the letters gave instructions on cpr card,physicals,drug test, and medical insurance. If they fallow the same format then you will need to complete all the requirements before getting a registration card!

Did their program just get suspended or something.. I thought I read that on here somewhere...

No Kennedy King program is suspended that's where I took Lpn. I'm taking the bridge program so I'm wandering if that why I got placed there. Some one did bring up accredidation here. Malcolm is not accredited but they are consided a candidate for acredidation by NLNAC until 2012. They are accredited by illinois so you still sit for state bords testing. I have done some reserch UIC college of nursing requires an active RN license so does NIU but I only reserched the online RN-BSN programs.

Hi. i have been accepted in to the Nursing Program at Malcolm X College in Chicago. I send them the e-mail to conform mt seat the next day, but i still did nor get anything back from them. I know some people received conformation back. Is there anybody else in the same situation and do i have to worry that my seat is been given to someone else. I had the same problem. I called the number at the end of the letter for the DON. I didn't get an answer so I left a message two days latter she called me back. As I turned out she couldn't find my email and asked me to resend it. I got into Malcolms brigde program so I also called Malcolm several times a day. Eventually I got through and I was told that Malcolm was in the process of sending its information out. Registration is this comming week and classes begain June 8th. But this info is for the bridge program. I stil have not gotten any other info. Call the executive DON and malcolm that's the best way to get answers

You should probably send several emails...some of us sent at least 3 before they confirmed us...leave messages and keep sending emails and save them as proof that you have been sending them.
