Nursing acceptance letter to Chicago City Colleges(Truman, Daley, or Malcolm X)

Did any prenursing students receive acceptance letters from any of Chicago City Colleges yet? I have not receive mine and just trying to get an idea.

i cant believe they can place you wherever they want.. you should be able to go where you applied, but on the plus side it least we got accepted. has anyone reserved their seat yet?

I know... I wonder why I got accepted in Daley too, but I'm willing to travel :D.

yea, idk thats strange you think they would of given you a heads up. so where are they placing students? daley, truman? and where else?

I think Daley and Truman are the only schools with the Nursing program...Wright College has a LPN/ RN Bridge program only.

I GOT IN MALCOLM X. I feel so silly because I have had my letter since Tuesday. I gave my personal email adress since I have been out of school for a year I don't use ccc email. Today I checked my ccc email and sure enough my acceptance came days ago. Two days of worry for nothing. If anyone else has a ccc account but gave personl email address you should check both.:D

has anyone applied to daley nursing program, i really dont understand why it takes soo long to get your letter? i am so anxious to know, has anyone applied to any other nursing schools?

Congratulations! I received a call from district that I was accepted and to still reply my intent via email which I boldly did -literally! :lol2: Join the facebook group I had created which is still growing: Daley College RN Class of 2013!

Anyone got an acceptance/rejection email yet? I called Dr. Gurney and left a vm asking about notification.

I have talked to someone in district yesterday and out of 2200 applicants (so far counted, was 2100) 600 were accepted and are being placed amongst CCC, and said that they are done sending out acceptance emails and now they are sending out declination notices (I think those might be via email as well). Best wishes everyone.

Also, if you were accepted into Daley College's RN program, I had created a fb group:

DALEY COLLEGE RN CLASS OF 2013

It is a closed group solely for Daley RN students who will graduate in 2013. You must request to join. So far there are seven members, and some info regarding vaccination/CPR requirements posted. THANK YOU MUCH!

HELLO RUBY2623! A woman called me around 5pm yesterday. She said Dr. Gurney and her are swamped (which is to be expected). Were you accepted to Daley?

Hi Jessiboop,I received en email from Dr. Gurney that she was going to have Trumans Nursing director call me on monday, hopefully she gives me good news :uhoh3:
