You should probably send several emails...some of us sent at least 3 before they confirmed us...leave messages and keep sending emails and save them as proof that you have been sending them.

I think Daley and Truman are the only schools with the Nursing program...Wright College has a LPN/ RN Bridge program only.

Small world girl I remember you pay by the credits whatever the price is just like in any city college. I hear the books is what burns your pocket.

From what I hear they no longer have accreditation. I think they took it away because of their failure average and the school was not doing a good job with the program. I don't know much else.

Hi all... Math A, Chem B, English A, Bio B, Compass 100...I finally got through to someone at Truman...Apparently we were placed by GPA and grades, I guess my B's lowered my score but I did get accepted to Daley . I called Truman today and a woman said that out of 2100 apps only 600 were placed...She is aware of the revamping but she has no details and that we should receive more info soon for those who were accepted. Congrats to all those accepted, and to those who did not keep your head up...I was not accepted last year at Truman as I was finishing up Micro and Bio 227...Everything happens for a reason and you will get in next time

Good for you!!! And the more info we learn then you can base your decision on that and decide if you want to stick with it...I'm with you, I wish they would give us a little more info...but I guess time will tell. Here is my e-mail.. [email protected] we should keep in touch in case we have the same schedule...i would love to carpool not only because of gas but safety . I hope I get a day schedule, I dont want to be there at night ...LOL.

What was your experience like at Daley? Did you like the school? I have taken most of my classes at Wright and took 2 at Truman...personally I hated Truman and LOVE Wright.

Hey....well I finally got in touch with someone at Truman Nursing Department...She said out of 2100 apps only about 600 were placed...Right now only Truman and Daley have RN programs and Wright has a LPN/ RN bridge program only. She also said for those who got into Daley was because we did not make it on the Truman list because of grades/GPA/etc and that is has nothing to do with zip code. She also said they are revamping the program but she did not know much details about it. We should get a letter soon about the program, orientation dates and registration soon. She said DR. Gurney and her office are swamped right now and that is why they are not returning phone calls. I did not take chances and I already replied to accept the program . I am stoked about this !!!

Thanks so much...I left a message with Dr. Gurney but no reply...I have called Truman a hundred times and nothing, I just get an answering machine that sounds more like a cell phone message. I have no idea what is happening but I do hope it's to our benefit...Maybe we'll meet in class one day

Hi...I have read a few threads of this school but they seem a little out dated...I just got accepted into Daley College nursing program and am really looking for anyone current in the program to give me some advice please. I would really like to know what the program is like there, how is the staff, school board, student body and ambiance. Apparently the application process changed in Chicago and although I applied to Truman and not Daley I was accepted at Daley . I have to reply by Monday May 9. 2011...PLEASE HELP..I know nothing about this school Any advice would help and am hoping things have changed a little from the threads I have read. Thank you for your time and any advice would be GREATLY APPRECIATED :)
