Nurses,
Please take a second to vote below!
We've polled our allnurses.com members the past 2 presidential elections and nurses got them both right! Let's see if we can predict the election results correctly for a 3rd time!
Of course, these are just fun non-scientific polls.
This thread was only intended to be a poll. Not a political discussion. Feel Free to reply with your choice if you want, but please no political arguments, slams or jabs :) Lets keep this a clean and simple poll
UPDATE: Nov 7th, 2012!
The poll has closed! allnurses.com members have called the presidential elections 3 times in a row correctly! Please carry on your Political Discussions in our Nursing Breakroom US Politics forum!
Thanks to the people who elected:I took your advice and looked it up.. and wow... looks like its even WORSE since Obama came into office. I guess we will be 6 trillion dollars more in the hole 4 years from now thanks to ppl like you
Nixon
Ford
Carter
Reagan
Bush I
Clinton (the couple of anomalous balanced budgets notwithstanding)
Bush II
Obama
and the legislators who've been consistently borrowing money for the last 50 years...
To lay the fiscal mess at Obama's feet, or to think Romney's announced plan to cut taxes would somehow make it better is simpleminded and inaccurate.

I guess we will just let Obama have another 4 years in office to "fix" our debt situation... because he made it SO MUCH BETTER the last 4 years. He is true to his word!
You're going to wish Romney was elected. Obamacare is ALREADY cutting peoples hours back... even some nurses. May God be with us all!!!!!!
Did u ever think your hours were cut back because of all the new nurses being hired? How bout you don't blame OUR president for your lack of hours at work. Blame the organization you work for
I am saddened that here where I live you can be ostracized for saying, "okay, we didn't vote for him, but now he's our president, our very system elected him-and he is the leader of our country-and I support my United States President." Be he/she Buddhist, Purple, or any other label or creed. What really cuts so deep is I remember people being able to disagree respectfully on huge issues, and the same middle split-without the partisan warfare, and that felt "patriotic" to me to hear that said.My prime example was JFK, when he was killed, Americans lost their elected President-not just his political party. Btw huge disclaimer: this post is regarding where I live, not anything anyone said here. I just believe that things that make us alike are more than the things that make us different. And, it's human nature to focus on differences, and those very ethnic, creed, political, and religious views made our country great! I remember what we have been through, because we are made up of different cultures, beliefs, and alas political affiliation-and then in a breath, history is forgotten, and we are doomed to repeat it.
the WORLD is in an economic crisis -it's not just the USA and it's not just due to Obama. "People like me"? I'm proud to say that I am the kind of person who cares about a woman's right to choose, accessible healthcare for everyone (not just the rich like Romney who can afford to pay for cutting edge treatments )and who cares about my brothers and sisters who are struggling and the planet that is being raped and pillaged. I'm PROUD to say that I'm that kind of person.

I considered that remark a bit of an insult which I'm sure it was meant to be,my bad for the name calling."People like me" Whatever-I hope people like them NEVER have to avail themselves of the system they abhor.I hope they never have put a hand out for help.If they have their way there will be no safety net available anyway.

As your homey Romney would say, "borrow money from your parents!"
Ok, I don't care who are are or what side you are on, that was funny.

Here's to four more years of congressional gridlock, partisan bickering, and nothing getting done.
I'm still not sure why anyone would support either canidate. No matter who get's elected we end up screwed.
