Hi everyone,

I am a registered nurse in the Philippines and now working as an Intensive Care Unit Nurse here in Saudi Arabia for almost two years.

I am planning to move my nursing career further in Ireland. I have paid the €350 assessment fee with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI) and the accounts department already provided me with a pin and advised me to wait for the delivery of my application pack.

The assessment fee was processed since April 17, 2015. I just wonder about how long it would take me to receive the application pack here in Saudi Arabia.

I hope that someone could help me. I'm so excited to process my application for Registration with NMBI.

Hello everyone!

I've been running here and there trying to find a forum that has something to do with Filipinos getting registered with the NMBI and thankfully I found this.

Anyway, anyone here who have sent their application form back to NMBI for assessment? I was told that it really takes time for the application pack to be sent specially if overseas so its much easier to get hold of an agency that is based in Ireland and then have them authorized as your representative. In that way the application pack will be sent to them and then the agency will be the one's to send it to you which is way faster as I was told.

Sorry for the late reply as I've been busy completing the requirements and complying with my 12 hours clinical duty. I received the application pack 2-3 weeks after paying the 350 euro. NMBI received all requirements last July 30,2015. So far, i have not received any response from NMBI.

That's nice to hear!

I have just accomplished the Overseas Registration Application Request Form yesterday and have sent it back to my authorized representative in Dublin. As per agreement, they will be the one to send it to NMBI and then once they received my full application pack they will send it to me.

I was told that the assessment phase takes about 8 to 12 weeks as soon as NMBI receives all the necessary documents. Just keep your hopes up and pray.

We can also create a viber group chat about our NMBI application so that we can help each other. What do you think?

add me because im also planning to pursue my application with nmbi. i think chesham recruitment is currently open to applicants who wants to work in ireland. I have seen their advertisement and it says that around 5 Dath will be coming here in the Philippines come November.

I've seen that as well awhile ago when I was browsing online but the thing about that agency is that they don't accept IELTS UKVI Academic exam but the agency that I'm with was able to confirm that NMBI do accept IELTS UKVI as long as its the Academic module and with the required band scores.

Are we good with the Viber group?

that's what I dont understand as well as i already have my ielts ukvi and i think idp and bc has already released a memo that the ielts ukvi acadmic exam is as good as the plain academic one. What agency are you with?
