NMBI Application Pack

Published

Hi everyone,

I am a registered nurse in the Philippines and now working as an Intensive Care Unit Nurse here in Saudi Arabia for almost two years.

I am planning to move my nursing career further in Ireland. I have paid the €350 assessment fee with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI) and the accounts department already provided me with a pin and advised me to wait for the delivery of my application pack.

The assessment fee was processed since April 17, 2015. I just wonder about how long it would take me to receive the application pack here in Saudi Arabia.

I hope that someone could help me. I'm so excited to process my application for Registration with NMBI.

Thanks.

Had to resubmit certified true copies of my passport and birth certificate. Apparently, the ones i sent were incorrectly certified.

I see. Just keep us posted until you get your DL. I wish you all the luck.

Will do and thank you! Goodluck with your application as well.

Hi, are there exams to be taken for Ireland application?

Hi, are there exams to be taken for Ireland application?

Hi, you only have to sit the Academic IELTS exam and obtain minimum scores of 6.5 in Listening and Reading and 7 in Writing and Speaking.

Hi! There's no exam that has to be taken to be registered as a Nurse in Ireland but there will be an Adaptation period that has to be undertaken depending on the outcome of the Assessment.

You can refer to this: Irish Nursing Board, An Bord Altranais

if you have more questions about the process on how to join the Register.

Thank you. I have an ongoing application in UK and have been waiting for my COS for quite a long time. I'll try my luck applying in Ireland.

Thank you!

NMBI received all of my documents end of July and Wise UK informed me yesterday that I already have a decision that is to undergo an adaptation. Overall, the process took about a month and a half to progress.

Following an administrative check of all the documents, someone responsible for the overseas registration would send you an email if further documents are required.

Hope it helps. See you there soon í ½í¸€

Thank you so much for the info. That was way faster than expected and aside from that its way shorter as compared to registering with NMC.

By the way, did wise inform you of the next steps that you have to take or what's their plan for you aside from relocating to Ireland the soonest?
