Sounds like a good opportunity to suck up, err, I mean "network". I'm going, thanks for posting :)
I went yesterday, it was awesome. It was nice to see a place as welcoming to new grads...it was very refreshing. Problem though is they have sooo many applicants, getting that all important interview will be hard. I handed out several resumes yesterday.
Holy macaroni! I did not know some of the stuff they had in those rooms even existed! That was so cool! I really really want to work there now. Some bad news I heard there was that a position I had applied for (internship 1 of 5 in the unit) had over 200 people apply to them.
But still. That place is crazy! Loving those lifts and all the other gadgets

OMG!! Those lifts. I think those should be mandatory in all hospitals. And the other gagets...WOW. The overall design is very good. I love that the nurse patient ratio on the med/sug units even at UK Good Sam are 1:5-6
I sooo want to work there regardless of the commute
I went as a nursing student and enjoyed it. The rooms were gorgeous, they seemed more like a high class hotel room, you almost forget you an in an ICU unit. I am trying to just get a tech job until I graduate in 2012 and not having much luck. I am currently employed in research and losing funding soon so I am starting to panic.
