I just submitted my application to the Nurse Corps Scholarship, I just found out about this a few months ago anyone have any advice or tips? I am most worried by my SAI number. It is within the range but its on the upper end more than lower.

You are eligible if you:
Are a U.S. citizen (born or naturalized), a national, or a lawful permanent resident
Are an accepted or enrolled student in a nursing degree program at a United States accredited school of nursing
Begin classes no later than September 30
Don't have any federal judgment liens
Don't have an existing service commitment
Aren't overdue on a federal debt
Note: Preference to those who need the most help financially.
Why should you apply?
If you receive an award, you'll get a monthly stipend—and they'll pay your
tuition;
eligible fees;
reasonable costs (includes books, clinical supplies/instruments, and uniforms).
I submitted my application back in May and anxiously check my portal everyday. I did get a new status of "Under Review" about 1-2 weeks after submitting. I know it can take up to Sept. 29. However, im curious - has anyone got the the "Finalist" email yet? Or do you have new status on your account?

I think the next step would be a credit check which I've seen happen at the end of June and a lot the end of August. So hopefully in the next few weeks we should get that
