Hey all!

I just submitted my application to the Nurse Corps Scholarship, I just found out about this a few months ago anyone have any advice or tips? I am most worried by my SAI number. It is within the range but its on the upper end more than lower.

Also, did anyone also happen to apply to either the CeraVe nursing scholarship and the Nurse I am Scholarship as well for this year? I don't see any threads on those, not sure if anyone had any luck.. thank you guys!

I also applied to CeraVe and haven't heard anything. I thought they would be picking winners by the end of April but I'm not seeing any information out there.

Hello there! Sorry, I am not much help because I am fairly new to it. Hopefully, someone can answer your questions. However, my status changed sometime over the weekend from "submitted" to "under review." I believe I have seen somewhere before that it can show up as "ineligible" or "eligible," but don't take my word for it.

Mine still says submitted, hasn't changed since then.

Hi I'm looking into lpn program at lincoln tech  but I see so many bad reviews and also im nervous cause of the tuition is so high ! I and single mom and don't want to spend time doing pre requisites. I'm just not sure if lincoln tech is the right way to go . I don't want to set myself up for failure trying to pay for the program if I can't afford it . any advice or if anyone has done this program ?

Hey there! Sorry, I don't know anything about that institution as I'm in Texas.  I'm starting Galen College of Nursing in Houston in July for their 3-year BSN. Just like yourself,  I've read many bad reviews on Galen,  but the people I personally know have said wonderful things.  For me,  it was either Chamberlain or Galen.  I also didn't want to do/redo prerequisites, so I transferred what I could. I'm almost done with my bachelors in Healthcare Administration so I really don't want to spend too much time doing prereqs and waiting a long time for applications to open up at a traditional institutions. Anywho, I've read mostly bad reviews on almost all LVN, RN, BSN programs. I guess it's unique to every individual to be honest. These programs aren't designed to be easy, unfortunately. I feel like the ones that do have great experience don't really leave reviews. It's really hard to say TBH... but I hope whichever direction you choose will play out well. Good luck!

There's an old thread on here about that school that may provide insights.  https://allnurses.com/lpn-lincoln-tech-paramus-any-t735874/

My status remained "Submitted" as well I completed my application on April 15, 2024.  However I have received a tentative offer by the VA HPSP scholarship.  God is good. I will continue to pray for ALL of you.
