I just submitted my application to the Nurse Corps Scholarship, I just found out about this a few months ago anyone have any advice or tips? I am most worried by my SAI number. It is within the range but its on the upper end more than lower.

You are eligible if you:
Are a U.S. citizen (born or naturalized), a national, or a lawful permanent resident
Are an accepted or enrolled student in a nursing degree program at a United States accredited school of nursing
Begin classes no later than September 30
Don't have any federal judgment liens
Don't have an existing service commitment
Aren't overdue on a federal debt
Note: Preference to those who need the most help financially.
Why should you apply?
If you receive an award, you'll get a monthly stipend—and they'll pay your
tuition;
eligible fees;
reasonable costs (includes books, clinical supplies/instruments, and uniforms).
Mine has been under review for a while. Some people last year said they heard if they were a finalist on July 16th. Wondering if anyone has been lucky enough to hear back. Since that was the third Sunday of July and today is the third Sunday.

I haven't heard anything. I've been out of power and cell signal for days due to Hurricane Beryl. Was hoping to get an update when I logged back in... but nope.

I checked old posts from the Facebook group and it looks like most people didn't get their updates until late August and sometimes even late September 😫
I saw on some post people got credit checks in at least July and late August too but I'm still under review and I called to check if I was under review on their end too but that's it so far

I think we are a bit too early. Other people did get contacted earlier last year however, I called a bureau rep and they told me that 2023, had the lowest accepted applicants.
