Nurse Corps loan repayment 2015

Published

Hi everyone,

I am currently working on the application for the nurse corps repayment program 2015 and I need some help from someone who has also done this process before.

My question is in regards to the documents you have to upload:

1# Authorization to Release Information, Authorization to Release Employment Information- Do you print these off, sign, scan, and then upload to the site?

2# Curriculum Vitae/Resume- is this just a basic resume stating your current position you hold, and do you address it to the Nurse Corps??

3# Finally, proof of citizenship can I just scan my drivers license and then upload it to the application???

I would appreciate all insight please, I want to make sure I get this right the first time. Thanks ahead of time for looking I really do appreciate it.

I am giving up hope. It looks like last year almost everyone who was a finalist knew at this time. I'm a CNM in tier one with a facility score of 18 and a debt to income ratio >200%. It would be nice to just see the final "no" and get some closure.

I got my finalist notice today! For those who were wondering my debt to income ratio is right at 100%, my workplace's score is 18. I'm an FNP. Last name starts with H.

Good luck to those still waiting.

Hi Sadiemae1123. Congrats! Did you apply for the nurse corps loan repayment?

Has anyone in Alabama received an award or denial? I am wondering if they do it by state or not.

Tier 2 facility :( definitely losing hope.

Tier 1 here. Also losing hope. :(

Hi Sadiemae1123. Congrats! Did you apply for the nurse corps loan repayment?

Yes. It's my first time applying.

ETA- I'm in Tennessee for those wondering if it's by state.

I am also losing hope. I am faculty from a Tier 1 school of nursing. Any other faculty out there still anxiously waiting?

I am also faculty from a Tier 1 school of nursing. So anxious that I won't get it since I'm still "under review" and had tons of issues with my application (glitches, problems on the gov't end making me have to re-submit like 4 times).

I'm in Alabama...nurse faculty. I have not heard anything.

I am hoping that maybe they have not started notifying faculty yet...I believe they award separately since you have to select "faculty" on the application...fingers crossed!
