Hi everyone,
I am currently working on the application for the nurse corps repayment program 2015 and I need some help from someone who has also done this process before.
My question is in regards to the documents you have to upload:
1# Authorization to Release Information, Authorization to Release Employment Information- Do you print these off, sign, scan, and then upload to the site?
2# Curriculum Vitae/Resume- is this just a basic resume stating your current position you hold, and do you address it to the Nurse Corps??
3# Finally, proof of citizenship can I just scan my drivers license and then upload it to the application???
I would appreciate all insight please, I want to make sure I get this right the first time. Thanks ahead of time for looking I really do appreciate it.

@katiefox21 IF you don't mind i have a couple questions.
You are a RN not a NP right?
Did you have a disadvantaged background form filled out?
Is this your first time applying?
Did you screen change from under review to final review.
When you say public health nurse what does that mean? Do you work for a clinic?
Sorry to ask so much. This is my second year applying and I don't really understand the process. I am in the same boat as you I have a debt to income ratio of 220% and I am in a tier one. I have a MSN but did not have it prior to applying. So at the time of my application I was a BSN.
@larathenurse No problem, I'd be happy to answer your questions!
Yes I am an RN.
No, I did not have a disadvantaged background form.
Yes, it is my first time applying. I just graduated from nursing school in June 2014 and starting working in September.
Yes, my screen changed. When I logged in after getting the email my screen was totally different than the "under review" one, you can't miss it.
I work for the county health department. I work in an immunization clinic and also do home visits, community outreach, case management, etc.
After I posted yesterday I realized that my debt to income ratio is actually over 300%. Yikes!
Good luck to you! I hope you get good news soon too! :)
OMG me too. Your case makes me hopeful. I have tried now twice and starting to get discouraged because the way they explain they give out the awards doesn't seem to be the case and I have seen many RN's with either less debt to income to ratio and a lower tier. So thank you so much for the info my fingers are crossed my hands are folded and looking for prayers. Hoping for the best and awaiting their response.
I received notification of being a finalist this evening! So excited! For all of those wondering, I do not have my MSN only my BSN. The hospital I work at is a tier 1 with HPSA score of 21, and my debt to income ratio is about 180%. To answer my own question my last name starts with C.
Good luck to everybody!! I know this process is nerve wrecking and seems hopeless at times. it's just too sad that we all can't get it especially for all the good work we do and people we help.

I am still patiently waiting as well!!! Getting a little impatient though. I do have a question for MPH to FNP or those that have received a notification of possibly being awarded this year. A coworker of mine is currently in the program and she was thinking they did it by alphabetical order based on last names. Can I ask MPH to FNP or any other potential nurses to be awarded what your last name starts with? Just curious if this is the case. Trying to figure out the system if there is even a system. Good luck everyone!!!
