I just got email notification yesterday that I am officially in the program! They noted August 9 as my start date (which is the day I received co-signature as well). I received a few emails that said "welcome to the program." So relieved it all went through ?
@Clare Morello Could you share what all was required for the continuation? What documents did you have to show the money went towards the loan repayment? Loan payment history?

Continuation requirement was to still be working and to show that the payments had gone to your loans. I kept the monthly payment confirmations from Nelnet and submitted those.

@gaspasser I got the official welcome email!! Everyone kept telling me CRNAs don't get it, and we did! I'm so excited, relieved, and am ready to encourage other CRNAs to apply!

Congratulations! I got mine too! Yea, but keep in mind this year there was like 3x the ordinary funding d/t a one time increase from the American Rescue Plan Act. So obviously a lot more awards were made...makes me worried about the prospects of having our 3rd year continuation award approved. I applied last year and never even got a credit check so I credit the extra funding for allowing me to receive the award this year.

I also worry that the third year award will be unattainable…
Congratulations to you as well! That's true regarding the funding, but I got worried that priortizing women's health was going to boot me out! Especially, when I saw some of the DTIs were WAY below mine! But, I'm happy for everyone who got awarded and am hopeful to those who have yet to receive notification.
It isn't over until Sept 30th!

First year applying, awarded as PMHNP w/ HPSA 17 and 150% DTI. Thrilled but also concerned about this discrepancy with taxes for nurses but not other disciplines!
Anyone have a letter draft to share, or willing to work on one together so that we can all make it easier for each other put pressure on our legislators to change this for us?
