  1. Hello all, I am a current NCLRP recipent, awarded in 2021, and just received notification today that I have been awarded continuation. With that being said, in 2021 for my initial contract, I found out in Mid-August. Someone asked if NCLRP is taxed and YES IT IS TAXED! That bill does not apply to this program. For my personal situation and student loan debt amount, NCLRP is beneficial to me, despite the taxes. It's a lengthy process, but worth the wait. Good luck to everyone!
  2. I strongly suggest advocating to start the new job after your HRSA contract is signed. You are allowed to change sites, I have done this, but you are not allowed to change in the middle of an application cycle. You also need to make sure the site you are going to has an equal or higher HPSA score. If it is lower, they will not approve the transfer. Once you have been awarded, the transfer process is pretty simple. Congratulations and good luck!
  3. Hi, there is OB at my facility, but I did not claim OB certification because I do not have it. There could have been multiple reasons. What tier are you in? It's a combination of DTI and HSPA score for your facility. This could be part of the issue. Another reason could be due to paperwork. I recommend going through the paperwork and reading the requirements front to back and making a checklist of what is required, and after reading through it again to make sure you didn't miss anything. If it weren't for my checklist, I would have missed uploading my marriage license, this is required if you changed your name. I hope this helps. Best of luck to you.
  4. I am in the process of transferring mine. As long as they are in the same tier, which they are, it shouldn't be a problem. Good luck!
  5. Another colleague of mine just got awarded today. Don't give up hope guys!
  6. Don't give up hope! The application cycle doesn't end until Sept 30th. Last year my friend got it in the last 2 weeks of the cycle closure. Also, check your spam mail. Some people said their confirmation of interest went there. Best of luck! If you transfer sites, then you have to get approval from HRSA to do so. You should read the application packet and/or call them directly.
  7. You should call and ask them for any specifics. However, all transfers must have prior approval. As long as the tier is the same it shouldn't be a problem. That is all in the nurse corps document.
  8. Congratulations! It's funny that you applied, but didn't know either the HPSA or DTI. Surely something led you to submit an application. Regardless, hopefully you can breathe a little easier now, I sure know I am!
  9. What's your DTI and HPSA score?
  10. Make sure you check your spam mail because some people said their confirmation of interest, went into spam. With your DTI and HPSA score, I can't see you not getting it. I too, have a DTI of > 200% so I get how you feel. It will happen! I'm not sure that credit check has any correlation with the timeline, but incase it does, my credit was checked in May and I found out in August. Best of luck to you!
  11. @chocoholic1 on the application, it says the cycle ends Sept 30th, so they will be sending notifications until then. Don't lose hope!
  12. Hi there, many RNs have been awarded also. Have you rechecked the HRSA site? Is your application still listed as under review? Don't give up hope!
  13. Congratulations to you as well! That's true regarding the funding, but I got worried that priortizing women's health was going to boot me out! Especially, when I saw some of the DTIs were WAY below mine! But, I'm happy for everyone who got awarded and am hopeful to those who have yet to receive notification. It isn't over until Sept 30th!
  14. @gaspasser I got the official welcome email!! Everyone kept telling me CRNAs don't get it, and we did! I'm so excited, relieved, and am ready to encourage other CRNAs to apply!
  15. Has anyone transferred HRSA to another site? If so, would you mind sharing the process?
