Nurses New Nurse
Published Feb 11, 2019
Hi Everyone,
I didn't see a thread created for the 2019 Nurse Corps Loan Repayment Program yet. This will be my 3rd year applying. I'm applying as a staff RN with a HPSA score of 17. Hopefully, they open the application cycle soon.

I have. How about you?
@blcRN123 nope ☹️ I feel like I'm losing it over here. This wait is almost more excruciating then the last weeks of pregnancy lol

We’ve still got time! Previous threads’ recipients looked like they received award notice 8-12 weeks after they noticed their credit had been checked. And don’t forget that credit checks were later this year (probably due to the shutdown) so notifications are coming later as well.

How do you check that?
No second employment check for me either. NP with DTI 160% tier 1. Include your stats, may be helpful to see (or make us all crazier ?)
@kclouse from my understanding log in to your portal and look at the initiate date on your employment verification. If it is different from the date it was actually submitted then they rechecked it
@Wsmfp88 FNP FQHC Tier 1 (HPSA 16) and I'm not sure about DTI. I keep seeing that loans that have co-signers are not counted into DTI. If that's the case my DTI is 113%, If they consider ALL loans even the one with cosigners, my DTI is 161%. Do you know anything about that?
I don’t, sorry! I would imagine they would be counted though. Anyone else know?
