2019 Nurse Corps Loan Repayment Program

Hi Everyone,

I didn't see a thread created for the 2019 Nurse Corps Loan Repayment Program yet. This will be my 3rd year applying. I'm applying as a staff RN with a HPSA score of 17. Hopefully, they open the application cycle soon.

Has only one person from this thread been potentially awarded or have had their status change to something other than 'under review'?

Congrats on being a finalist. I wonder how it works. Do they send out finalist offers every few weeks or is this it?!

On a previous page of this discussion, PICUrn2014 said they got word of being a finalist a few days before the end, which I took to mean in September?! I too wonder if we're all out now or what.

I think there will be another wave of finalist emails...not really sure how the process was previous years

I have a friend who, two year ago, got finalist notification in September and ended up getting awarded Nurse Corps LRP. It definitely seems like they do it in waves.

Okay good to hear! Well let the waves come in abundance. The wait is almost unbearable after hearing they have started with finalist emails ?.
