Hi Fellow Nurses!

Is anyone else anxiously awaiting the 2017 cycle opening?

I have applied several times and praying that 2017 is my year. I'm tier 1 - not faculty and not an NP.

Is anyone else out there?

Received a finalist notification today!!

NON-faculty RN, Tier 1, site score 21,DTI 168%. I have scoured my credit reports but see nowhere where there was a credit check. Maybe it hasn't shown up on the report yet??

I'm actually abroad and received the email at midnight which would have been 6 pm central time.

So we now have Faculty and RN awards going out for Nurse Corps and some NHSC awards as well. No NPs in Nurse Corps seem to have been notified so far, is that right?

Hey guys! I just started following this forum. If I understand correctly, the deadline for applications was in February and most of you are still waiting to receive award letters? For those of you that applied, were you in nursing school or finished and graduated? Any advice on when you should apply for someone in nursing school? Thanks for the clarification

So correct me if I am wrong, faculty and RN's have been awarded through Nurse Corps? Have they started awarding NP's from National Health Service Corps loan repayment program either? I have applied to both and I know the latter had a later deadline date. Thanks for any info, so stressful!!

CONGRATULATIONS!!! Do they tell give you any numbers to work with??

I'm new to this thread, but I wanted to update that I am a RN, tier 1, DTI 160% and I received an award finalist email today! So keep your fingers crossed, things are starting to move along!

Has anyone received your welcome packet? I am a nurse faculty that had notification of finalist on July 3rd but I haven't heard anything else. You?

That's crazy, Schmammers! Awardees in past years received their packets within a month! Something is definitely different about this year. Have you called or emailed them?

Guys - I got another credit check from Fred co August 10. They've checked my credit 3 times now. June 5, July 12, and August 10. Has this happened with anyone else?

I too got my offer July 3 and no welcome packet as of yet! Makes me a but nervous í ½í¸®
