2017 Nurse Corps Loan Repayment Program

Hi Fellow Nurses!

Is anyone else anxiously awaiting the 2017 cycle opening?

I have applied several times and praying that 2017 is my year. I'm tier 1 - not faculty and not an NP.

Is anyone else out there?

Congrats! Did you have multiple credit checks? I have had 3 since June from Credco. I applied to both - Score is 16, DTI is 140 and I'm an NP as well!

I am an RN, tier 1 D/I ratio is 150. I received a finalist email aug 17. Had a hard credit check June 5th. Fingers crossed

Congrats to those of you selected. For the last two years I have received credit checks but have not been awarded. My co-worker thinks it's because my loans are private (sallie mae, navient) vs. federal loans. My question is for those of you who have been awarded, are your loans private or federal?

I have both federal and private. I don't think that plays into it at all.

I'm in the same boat. RN, 148%, site score 16, credit check 6/5. Still praying!!
