Hi Fellow Nurses!

Is anyone else anxiously awaiting the 2017 cycle opening?

I have applied several times and praying that 2017 is my year. I'm tier 1 - not faculty and not an NP.

Is anyone else out there?

Looking through last year's thread it seems there were some who had credit checked but didn't receive funding. I think I even recall folks who've applied this year mentioned credit checks from last year. But I think a credit check is a pretty good sign.

Hi all,

I am a nurse faculty with D/I ratio of about 98%. Tier 4. I had a credit check from CREDO on May 26.

Does anybody know if participants in the past have had their credit checked and NOT received loan forgiveness though Nurse Corps?

I saw on last year's thread someone who said she'd applied several years and followed all the threads on here. She said "90% if not all of those who get their credit checked receive funding"... fingers crossed!

BEYOND EXCITED! Just got notified of a credit check 6/5 on Credit Karma Credco. Nurse Practitioner Tier 1, >200% DTI :) Fingers crossed!

I just checked my Credit Karma and I have a hard inquiry from Credco on 6/5/17. I've never used Credit Karma before so I'm not sure if I can break it down to find out who exactly did the check. I'm a RN (not Faculty or NP). At least it's progress, I submitted my application in the first week that they opened. Thought I might have submitted too soon lol

Beyond excited! Normally I get notifications as soon as a credit check is done, but just checked CK and saw one from Credco on June 5th! I guess I'm not counting myself out quite yet. :)

So next question- anyone know how early people can be notified? It seems like credit checks happened mostly in April last year and notifications not until July/Aug. HOWEVER- in previous years it looks like there was a much quicker turnaround (and the credit checks were done later)- sometimes a few days or a week. Clearly I am going to be obsessing about this until I hear so I am very curious!

Credit Karma hard inquiry from Creditco on 6/5. Dti 210%, tier 1 (15), crna. Does your Credit Karma inquiry have "Miscellaneous Reptg. Agencies" as the source?

Got a credit check on June 7th. Facility score is 20 and debt to salary is 204%. RN BSN. Just posting here to give others a guideline!

RN, Tier 1, Facility score 17, D/I 160%, 2nd year applying, Just checked credit karma I had an Inquiry from CREDCO Inquiry: Jun. 05, 2017 on Equifax only,

last year my credit check was in early April.
