Hi Fellow Nurses!

Is anyone else anxiously awaiting the 2017 cycle opening?

I have applied several times and praying that 2017 is my year. I'm tier 1 - not faculty and not an NP.

Is anyone else out there?

😲 I got a credit check! I got a credit check! NP, 180%, Tier 1. Applied at the very end!

I can't believe it! After all these years of applying, I've received my first credit check! Hard inquiry Credco 6/5. I'm an RN site score 16, d/I of about 145%. Optimistically hopeful!!!!! Good luck to everyone!

Hello All just joining. last year I applied and had a credit check in April; however, I was not selected. So I can attest that credit check is not a guarantee. I applied again this year with fingers crossed. Got a credit check June 5. NP,

How are you notified if you are awarded? I tried finding that information in application but I couldn't find it.

A friend of mine that received it was notified via email. She also had a time frame to respond before she lost the award.

According to awardees from previous years, if you receive the award you will be notified by email, and like the comment previously stated, you will only have so many days to accept the award and provide banking information. Your status will also change under your HRSA login and will no longer show "under review". Also, be sure to check your Spam folder, because people were unaware that they were receiving awards.
