Hi Fellow Nurses!

Is anyone else anxiously awaiting the 2017 cycle opening?

I have applied several times and praying that 2017 is my year. I'm tier 1 - not faculty and not an NP.

Is anyone else out there?

I know its killing me too! I check the portal every day!

Received credit check from Credco on 6/5 as well. Facility score 14, DTI > 200%, NP. Fingers crossed!

Sure hoping we all get awarded this year because it looks like next year the funding for Title VIII programs will be greatly reduced:

Ya, Trump is cutting everything, all social services programs are vulnerable. Everyone knows cutting programs that help the most needy will benefit America and make it great again...wonder how many nurses applying for this voted for him. The irony....

Curious as to which hospital you are at? Assuming its in Miami?

I also received a credit check on 6/5 from Credco and confirmed with them that it was from a government agency regarding nursing. I can't recall my specific site score, but I know it fell into tier 1 and my D:I ratio is just over 100%. I'm an RN/BSN at a primary care clinic. Looks like from last years cycle that awardees were notified starting in late July, so I'm hopeful to hear soon but not exactly planning on it.

The suspense is killing me! I think that in previous years, credit checks were started back in April/May and the candidates were receiving award confirmations by end of May - beginning of June...So...? Has ANYONE heard ANYTHING?!?

I'm trying to be patient, but this process is very nerve-wracking!

Hi everyone, I received the award last year my DTI was 220% Tier 1 facility. I got notified late July with the offer. I'm hoping my wife gets the award this year. Her DTI is higher than mine was last year so we'll see. Good luck to everyone.

How long after a credit check did you get notified?

I believe my credit was checked April 17 last year.
