Still obsessively watching my e-mail, nurse corps, and this board. Hoping for the best, but expecting the worst at this point.

Beyond excited! Normally I get notifications as soon as a credit check is done, but just checked CK and saw one from Credco on June 5th! I guess I'm not counting myself out quite yet. :)

I'm following my Credit Karma pretty closely to wait and see if I get the inquiry. So far nothing.

People started seeing credit checks mid-April, I believe. Fingers crossed I see one!

Hey everyone! Figure I'd join the conversation. I have read every single post from 2016, which I don't recommend. I eventually started psyching myself out and wondered why I even applied in the first place. This is my first time applying, and while I'm hopeful, I'm practical. There's a lot of need and nowhere near enough funds to help. I'm an RN. Eventually I'd like to become an NP, but at this point I'd need some of my student loans paid off first. I believe I'm Tier 1 - assuming they will go with our Mental Health site score of 17. I'm at a 117% D/I. While I know some are far more over their heads than I am, it's still almost crippling with the amount of debt that I have as a new grad. So far no credit check, but from what I've seen, that will begin through next month. Good luck everyone!

Hi There! I currently attend Chamberlain in Phoenix as well! Most classes are offered on campus, and some are offered online. From what I've heard, I can recommend to take most online and have done so. If you have a few generals to take, I've taken almost all of them online and it was fine! I've taken every nursing class online except Patho II. Depending on what semester you're taking your actual nursing classes will depend on what I would personally recommend. In one semester, they will have you scheduled for NR 224 (Fundamentals), NR 281 (Patho I) and NR 302 (Health Assessment). If you can, I would HIGHLY recommend splitting patho from that group. The sooner you take it the better. If you take all three of those together, be prepared to be overwhelmed. Nearly everyone in my cohort struggled with those three classes at once because there isn't enough time to get everything done. I'm not trying to scare you though, just looking out! I went from straight A's to struggling to keep my head above water. Okay, back to online vs. campus. Pharmacology is usually only offered online; but is offered on campus about once a year from what I've noticed. Everything I have heard is take it on campus if at all possible! I am taking it in September so I can't really attest to anything besides that.

So unbelievably bummed. Didnt get an interview or anything. So looks like no nursing school for me this year as this was the last school I was waiting for a response from.

So far I've been rejected from 3/4 of the schools I've applied to, waiting to hear from the Denver School of Nursing; which will be a huge transition for me. I'm anticipating hearing from them within the next couple of weeks. Congrats to everybody who has been accepted, and good luck to those still waiting! :]

I applied for the Klamath Falls campus, but was also notified that even though it's not an official rejection (way to ease the ego, right?) the chances of me getting in are not likely. It's hard not to be disappointed when my family keeps bringing it up... Congrats to those of you who are either continuing in the process, or have heard from other schools! I've been rejected for three schools as of right now. Keeping my fingers crossed that something will come my way. :/

I'm curious for those who have/are in the process of taking the HESI, what edition is the book you are studying from? Does it make a difference between the 2nd and 3rd? I'm out of state, and even though I am just now sending my application, I would like to start preparing, just in case.

I read that you got a phone call? Congrats! I'd love to here more about your process since we are in a fairly similar boat (although I don't have a ton of recent volunteer experience, anymore).

I heard good things about Butler, so I might try there, since they are on samuelmerrit as well. My local community college doesn't offer it, and the closest that does I have heard only a couple of people talk about but they weren't good things. Ill probably look into more a little closer, especially the cost and something that is 100% online.

Hmmm... Anybody have any other suggestions? According to the Ccconline website, Oregon residents are unauthorized.

With ccconline, is it 5 credits, since DSON's is 5? I've been hunting around all day trying to answer my own questions but none of the classes offer a 5 credit patho. I'm getting ready to mail my application soon, and I'm so excited/ready to pass out lol
