2017 Nurse Corps Loan Repayment Program

Published

Hi Fellow Nurses!

Is anyone else anxiously awaiting the 2017 cycle opening?

I have applied several times and praying that 2017 is my year. I'm tier 1 - not faculty and not an NP.

Is anyone else out there?

Did you see it on credit karma? And what is your DTI?

It was on credit karma. I'm nursing faculty- but my DTI is greater than 175%

Yes that is the one!! I have not got one yet, but I applied in 2016 and that was where my credit check came from. Great sign.

Credit check on 5-12 from Credco!!! Just saw it today- and of course credco is closed. But I have no idea what else it would have been ran for. Anyone else showing a credit check?!?!?!

That's exciting. I called today...and all he could say was it was under review.

Where did it show up on Credit Karma? Was it a hard inquiry?

Yes! It was under hard inquiry. It had a little red triangle to alert me that there was a change. I even called credco yesterday just to make that it was indeed them. They told me with was HRSA!

I have not received a credit check from Credco- I have one from last year under the credit karma app as well but only under Equifax, not under Transunion. I do not see the old inquiry on credit wise.

Does it show up on experian? I have been checking my experian acct

Ok, thanks. My CK is due to update in a day or two. I hope there is an inquiry on my report. :)

Does anyone know from prior years if they all happen on the same day? I wonder if they batch them or do NPs, Faculty, RNs separately or if they have to go through each one.

Checked my credit report and I have a credit check ...dated April 21st. Just appeared for 1st time. Hard inquiry. But looks like things are moving
