2017 Nurse Corps Loan Repayment Program

Published

Hi Fellow Nurses!

Is anyone else anxiously awaiting the 2017 cycle opening?

I have applied several times and praying that 2017 is my year. I'm tier 1 - not faculty and not an NP.

Is anyone else out there?

AND STILL I HAVE NOTHING! Are you guys NPs? RNs? or Faculty? And do you remember when you submitted your applications? Early, Middle, Later?

NP. Submitted at the very end. I think they are just starting to process

I have a credit inquiry from Credco on 5/9/17. I'm an NP and applied towards the end of the cycle. DTS ~95%. I'm trying to be optimistic but being tier 2 seems almost impossible. Does anyone know if any tier 2 NPs have been funded in the past? This is the only instance where I actually wish I had a little more debt! í ½í¸

I still have nothing :( I have credit karma, does anyone know if it updates daily?

I have nothing either. My Debt-to-income ratio is approximately 182%. I am an NP. My score is 18, so I'd be in Tier I. I'm not sure what the problem could be or why I haven't had an inquiry yet.

I don't either. I'm an NP and submitted later. My Credit Karma is up to date as of 5/16/17. I went on my HRSA account to make sure it still said Under Review and not Rejected or something. The suspense is killing me....

Hi. I just found out that my Credco inquiry was actually from a mortgage refinance. So, nothing for me either. Bummer!

So as of now, only one person on this thread has had a credit check? From

Past forums, it looks as though the credit checks were all on the same day. Bummer.

I just spoke to HRSA, they indicated credit checks can come at any time and are very scattered, not done all the same day. They indicated not having a credit check yet does NOT mean you won't be awarded. Keeping my fingers crossed for everyone!

I just checked my Credit Karma and I have a hard inquiry from Credco. Feeling hopeful as an nurse educator even though I'm Tier 2.

Transunion or equifax?
