I have tried multiple times trying to reach a contact within Nunavut. I have left several messages with Caimbrige Health Dept. faxes to G0ja Haven and emails...I recieved only one email over the course of three weeks....very frustrated and wondering about the online job vacancies and if they are still open or even exist????
Any suggestions for alternate contacts? Anyone hae any experience dealing with this?

Technically, Nunavut is a territory, not a province.

Perhaps your spelling is getting in your way and your attempts to contact the centres have gone astray. Cambridge Health Department and Kativik Health Centre in Gjoa Haven are both within my tertiary care facility in Edmonton's catchment area. Three weeks in the grand scheme of human resources is really not that long. Hiring will be done through Health Canada as they're the responsible party for health care in the Territories, but I'm not sure they hire LPNs.

I don't usually see a lot of postings for RPNs in Nunavut, more RN positions available. Perhaps that is why they are taking a long time to get back to you.

They have postings on their website. They prefer you to have your Numavut LPN license already. Their isnt much turnover for lpns up there and the vacancies are usually a long term care setting. Just keep applying to postings but it does take a while
