Hey I was wondering who has applied to the Nursing Program @ Nova starting fall 2010?
I would like to know of any updates any one has heard on the process, interviews, etc.
thanks!! best of luck!!
I was also wondering about the different times, i guess there are so many students they have to divide it up.... and i know they divide the Baptist students that got in after i just dont know how that works with Nova. Im so EXCITED... but i see the schedule and i got nervous lol... I wonder if we could purchase our books at another bookstore, or online where it can be found cheaper? As long as its the latest edition i dont think its a problem but im not sure... Also on orientation do we go get fitted for our scrubs? Or how do we go dressed lol so many questions... i just want to start already!!!!! CONGRATS to all who have gotten in... no its game time!!!
To all those waiting im still praying for all of you... hang in there and keep us all posted!

Jerziana,
On the main Entry Level Program page, it states: "On orientation day you will be assigned your academic advisor and have the opportunity to see various sizes of lab coats and scrubs for purchasing the uniform." It also has a document on the right side that states "Dress Code Memo" saying to dress professionally on Orientation day but to wear comfortable shoes. I'm sure we will be walking A LOT!
It sure IS game time now!!! Lol I've been on the website alllllll day looking and reading the information!!! Everyone, enjoy your summer break while you can, the next 27 months will sure be a ride!!!
hey all
Just wanted to say congrats again to all those who have been accepted and for those who haven't, please hang on!. I truly feel like this a reality after seeing the schedule info. Scary, but not really. And I cant Wait!! (I hope we can all meet at orientation)
Good luck to all of you!
PinkNurse, you know that you are right and i did read the orientation portion and it does state that DUHHHH!!!! Im so nervous and excited that i just breezed through it... lol comfortable shoes huh... OH BOY! They are for sure going to take us around the campus... I have already printed out all of the forms even the Shark ID and the parking decal one lol... im the biggest nerd!! The next 27 months are going to be rough but we will have each other. Now what to wear for orientation and what shoes!!!! lol im already thinking ahead of myself.
Marcy, you were the one that started this thread and i am so happy that you did.. thank god that we have each other to support. We need to see if we can all meet on orientation day, how funny that would be... and i can hear us all now complaining again later about something lol.... but its so worth it... i cant wait!!! Lets all stick together and hang in there...
nope I haven't heard anything..I'm done stressing it..whatever. I'm happy for our peers who have gotten in but I expected to know something by now..at this point I'm ready to receive my denial letter and call it a day. If i get in of course that would be great but receiving anything from them at this point (even if its a denial letter) would also be superb. i just want to know already ...so i can start to focus on the next round of applications i'll need to send out.
I called today, and they told me that everyone will know by the end of the month. They also said we can find out by an email, letter or even a call. I am not stressed about it anymore. I applied at another school as well, and I am waiting there too. Hopefully one of them accepts me at this point. I am a true believer that everything in our lives happen for a reason. Linda, if you don't get in and if I don't get in..maybe there is something else in store for us. You never know... until we know lets keep our fingers crossed we all make it in. :)
Linalove and Ralph,
I know how the both of you feel... i keep checking on all of you still waiting because the waiting period is brutal! I received a call last thursday then an email followed the next day so just check for everything, keep your phone next to you, your email opened and be on top of it. I received the call like at 5:30pm so they can call at any time. Hang in there because if you are meant to do this career it will happen, no matter the obstacles you can do it. I had the same thinking as you guys did, where i was already weighing out other options and seeking another profession even... but you know what everything does happen for a reason and sometimes it will take a little longer to get there than anticipated but it doesnt mean you cant get there. Im crossing my fingers for you and hoping for the best. Try and take it easy i know its hard but we are all here to lend a hand or give support. Take care and keep us posted.

Thank you... I was hoping to know my schedule for sure ahead of time but I figure they will tell us what section were in on orientation day.
