NSU EntryBSN Program Fall 2010

Published

Hey I was wondering who has applied to the Nursing Program @ Nova starting fall 2010?

I would like to know of any updates any one has heard on the process, interviews, etc.

thanks!! best of luck!!:p

My acceptance package is finally here. Even though I knew I was accepted having the acceptance packet makes it real!

Jerzia

how do you see the courses and times because I was unable to see anything about the courses. Thanks

To everyone still waiting: Don't stress yourself. If nursing is what you really want to do, there is nothing that Nova can do or say to take it away from you. It will happen. Besides you will have a career full o stresses, so try and relax and prepare fo hose days ahead. Best wishes

Nurse Kitty, its on the admission link when they send you the email.... then you need to click on the left hand right where it says nursing and then click on BSN ENTRY LEVEL and it should direct you there.... i had trouble doing it my friend told me how to do it the first time... but its posted up already... it was just posted yesterday afternoon... it tells you the books and what classes you are going to be taking and the times... the times are horrible lol... there are 4 books u need to purchase so far... let me know if you can access it.

How long before you received the packet did it take to get it? They told me that sometime next week it would be in, but who knows with them. My friend just got hers today and were accepted at the same time. But its the same information they provide you with online.

To all those waiting my heart goes out to you!!! I know how that is and just try i know its hard but try to stay positive. Its all worth it, nothing is ever easy and this will only prepare us for whats to come.

I just received my APPLICATION PACKET!!! This makes it official.

Its basically everything that was on the extended email. '

To all those who are still waiting, good luck! and keep hanging there.

Thanks jerzia but my admission link don't have a nursing link on the left. I tried everything.

CONGRATULATIONS ZDream624 Jerziana29 and Nurse Kitty2013!!!:yeah:

Its been such a long waiting game and now we are officially sharks!:)

I received my accepatnce email 2 weeks ago and then this week I received another email to remind me of the fees that are due on 3 different dates, and it also had links to the admission site and orientation site. On the orientation site is where I found a bunch of forms that we have to complete as well as the booklist and class schedule. I was a little confused on the class schedule because it showed the 4 courses with 2 different times.

Jerziana29: did you see the same schedule? There are 2 diff times for the same class and one class says (E1) in black and the other says (E2) in red...do you know which one is for us?

NurseKitty2013

Try to go to the orientation site and you will see the entry level ft lauderdale campus link on the upper right corner and then it will show you all of the details for orientation.

Thanks jerzia but my admission link don't have a nursing link on the left. I tried everything.

Here's the link. No need to waste time in trying to explain it when you can just paste the link. Enjoy! :-)

Do you know what the E1 and E2 means next to the course name on our schedule?

Thanks Samantha, I found it. Wow, that is a lot of stuff we have to print out. I wonder how the advisors are going to schedule the classes? Do we have a preference of the time slot or is just random? I would hate to get the morning slots because I work nights. I'm ready for anything, so I will be prepared. I'm looking forward to this. Finally, something challenging. I was getting bored with the regular classes at MDC. I'm even looking forward to doing all nighters studying. Which I rarely do now. Is it just me?

Thanks Pinknurse

NurseKitty2013: I know! there is so much paperwork to go over. I was wondering the same thing about the class scheule and what the E1 and E2 sections are so I can figure out what times I'll be in class.

Hopefully you can get some of the classes that are in the afternoon since your working nights.

Do you know what the E1 and E2 means next to the course name on our schedule?

I believe that it is a second option. Since it is the same course, if you look at the days and times, for ex- NUR3000 - E1 is on Monday and Friday (9-11:45am) and E2 is on Thursday and Friday (9-11:45am & 1-3:45). Since there are hundreds of students, I'm sure once the first option gets full, The other half of the students will be put into the 2nd class.
