THANK YOU!! OMG i know!!!! They called me and explained how fast i have to give the deposit!!! And my VIP page changed to a student portal where you can see the classes.. SURREAL!!! Hopefully i can get my packet soon and apply to Baptist asap!!! YAY!!!!!

You need to keep positive.... i was completely hopeless and couldnt figure them out at all and then i receive a phone call and it was surreal...... i hope you get in!!! We have been through hell and it will pay off, no matter what!

For those of you who have been accepted, congratulations!!! ALSO, have you guys completed all your pre-reqs? Or are you still taking summer classes?

Im curious because I have applied and am taking my last courses: A&P and sociology and wondering if it will affect my chances of getting in for the fall. Also, when did they say you will hear back from Baptist to know if you recieved the scholarship?

Congrats to all of those that have been accepted!!!!!!!!! I am fuming right now though, I received an email this morning and I was so excited because I though it was finally the acceptance letter.......it turns out the email was to remind me that my application is still missing items!!!! I know I have submitted everything , not only does my VIP page say it but I called them several times back in May to confirm that they have everything and they told me that everything was fine. I am sooo upset. I just finished calling NOVA and the lady told me that they had all my transcripts and to disregard the email! I told them that I couldn't just disregard the email because Im sure it was sent for a reason so she transferred me to someone else and told me to leave her a message and she would call me back! I can't believe this!!! I am sooo frusterated!!!!!!!!!!!

I do not completely understand what you are going through since I am not waiting for an acceptance letter ( I willl apply for the fall 2011 term ); however, I do want to tell you to not get stressed out and to patiently wait. Many of the people who got accepted almost gave up when they found out that they got accepted. I hope that make you feel better. I hope you get good news soon.

I received that same email last night as well like at 7 when i was already told that I was accepted. Then this morning i received the Congrats email so it was probably sent in error. Since you called and you are on top of it I think you should be ok... because i received the same thing, i think it was just generated to those who are pending.. if you sent everything then you are ok, look at me. But good think you followed up because we cant take our chances with NSU... you know how they are. Hang in there and keep calling back. Im sure it was populated to all who are pending like i stated earlier. Keep me posted!

Kristou, THANK YOU!!! I know you have been following all of us from the start and reading our torture we have endured lol, this was such a looooooong awaited acceptance... i still cant believe it....im in shock!!!!!

Nurse1389, I had only one class pending which was Micro lecture i sent my final grade in MAy 15th...they did tell me thats why i was waiting so long because after they receive your info they scan it and wait for it to be transferred to the committee which i found out could take up to 2 weeks. Also, when do your classes end? Do they end before July 1? Is sociology a pre req that you are missing for NOVA? I know that Anatomy is but not sure about sociology if thats part of your humanities or not? I had a friend that was denied because of taking classes past a certain time and it was the pre-reqs for NOVA.... but then again you never know, i have no idea what system Nova is running on to make decisions, i know that they look at your science gpa!! So if you are ok there then im crossing my fingers and hoping you can join us... good luck and hang in there!!! Best wishes. :nurse:
