Has anyone applied for the Nova BSN program starting Jan 2010? If so, have you received any letters regarding the status of your application and when did you apply? What was your cummulative g.p.a and are you currently taking any pre-reqs? I applied mid August and still haven't received anything by mail. :(

Yes, certified mail. Denials arrive via regular mail. How long ago was your interview?

Hello, I was just wondering if you recieved any news on orientation for Ft. Lauderdale campus? Would you know when the first day of class is for Ft. Lauderdale? Thanks!

I had my interview Oct 28th. I dont know when orientation is but i have read that classes start late january. Im so anxious to know whether or not ive been accepted so i can plan accordingly u know! Also if i find out i have been accepted i would like to get a head start on some things to refresh my mind, anyone know what subjects/areas one should refamiliarize themselves with?

I have no idea im curious about that as well. Also i just read in an older thread that the letters of acceptance come in certified mail and you have to sign for them. Does anyone have any info on that?

I did read that too but I have no idea if we have to sign for them

Yep they come certified mail and you have to sign for them. If you aren't home they leave a door tag and then you need to pick it up at the post office. The rejection letters come via regular mail and its a small envelope versus the big one for the acceptance letter. Interviews are still going on so be patient. Don't get desperate and jump on the Fort Meyers option if that isn't close to you. Patience is key!!!!!

I just had my interview on November 6, 2009 and I heard interviews will go on till November 12, 2009. Also, after the interview they told us (me and the other three girls) that we will hear about their decision in 4-6 weeks!! I am trying to be patient.

when is your interview?

Hey everyone. Hopefully i'll be starting the nursing program at Nova in January finally. I was originally accepted to begin now in the Fall 2009 but there was a complete miss understanding between me and the school. I applied, was called in for an interview, was accepted and 2 weeks before the semester began I got a call asking if I had taken a class I thought I had taken already:o. Apparently I understood the SOC requirement they mention on the application requirements page as another class I had taken at FIU since SOC at FIU is actually SYG. It was a complete misunderstanding between the school and myself but thankfully they just pushed my acceptance to January 2010 as long as I take the class now in the fall. SOOO I'm stuck taking one class this semester. I cant wait to start and wish you all luck!

just want to know what kind of questions were asked in the interview and what was the essay about. How many questions did they asked you

No offence but at this point we are all competing so it wouldnt really be smart to let you know the type of questions they ask LOL. The interview is not long so dont worry too much about it. I wish you good luck.
