Has anyone applied for the Nova BSN program starting Jan 2010? If so, have you received any letters regarding the status of your application and when did you apply? What was your cummulative g.p.a and are you currently taking any pre-reqs? I applied mid August and still haven't received anything by mail.

How did the interview go for you mayteb87? I got called today to come in Oct 7 at 8:30 am. Cant wait! I wonder how many applicants there are for the winter 2010 term.

When did you submit your application and how long did you wait until you heard from them? Also, how did your interviews go? I submitted my paperwork late September because it was a last minute decision so I'm waiting to see if I get called. I have a 3.4 cummulative GPA - we'll see what happens!!

How did everyone's interview go? I applied for Spring of 2010 and I have my interview on November 6, 2009 @ 8:30am. Does anyone have any advice? I am really nervous. I hope you all did really well. Any information will be greatly appreciated.

search the threads on this site and you'll find tons of info on the interview process ... from what i've read they ask you general questions like why do you wan't to be a nurse, what are your strengths and weaknesses, what is the worst thing you've done at work ... they might also ask you to watch a video and write an essay on it or write an essay on a topic they give you ... good luck!! let me know how it goes ... i'm still waiting for my interview ... i called last week and they said interviews will go through november so we'll see

I read a blog that interviews go through November 12. I hope you get a call soon. Thank you for your help. I just signed up for this website; a friend recommended it may help for the interview. Some people say the interview is completely nerve wrecking and others say it was really relaxed; I guess its all about who is your interviewer. Thanks for the info.

i signed up to this website about a month or so ago ... i was researching info on the interview process and ran across this site and love it! its great because you can get info from real applicants/students instead of having to rely on rumors ... lol ... i have 5 friends in the nova program now and they're input has been helpful as well ... let me know how it goes tomorrow and good luck again!

I submitted my application September 30 and I got a call on November 4 2009 that my interview was going to be on November 6, 2009 at 8:30am; I had to wait two months.

no not yet, still waiting =/ i submitted my application in person on oct. 1 ... i called about a week ago and they said they instituted a new rule that requires applicants without an AA or AS to submit their high school transcripts so i ordered mine last tuesday ... in the meantime they would review my paperwork ... if you dont mind me asking when did you submit your application & what GPA do you have?

the day after i called nova called me and said my high school transcripts would not hold up the process .. im hoping this request means i could be a potential candidate ??

Don't worry. You know all this paper work always takes a long time.
