Yes, very unclear!!! So my TA just this evening posted something about this Roles DB being written on your case study family. Nowhere in the original directions/prompt did it mention this. So all the people who posted early in the week wrote about their own families!

I agree....very confusing. I wrote my DB on Monday and thankfully didn't post it yet. I had to completely redo it. I only stumbled on the assignment requirements when I checked the posts on Tuesday. Several of my classmates resubmitted their assignment. I wasn't pleased to do the homework twice!

I'm really glad I didn't do my Roles DB yet... I worked on the case study board first. I haven't received my grade yet from last week's case study DB, (so much for receiving grades within 72 hours,) so I'm holding off on submitting it. Is anyone else in section 1008?

I will die if I have to redo this, I emailed my TA stating my case that the original prompt did not mention the case study. I am waiting on her reply....This is ridiculous, especially the way nurses schedules are, they should know we may only have days off at one end of the week, giving important information on Wednesday is useless. Many in my section have completed theirs with no mention of the case study family, so my fingers are crossed. I may just be willing to take the point deduction and not rewrite, for whatever its worth.

Is anyone getting tired of writing about their family yet? Can't believe I have to write another DB on them and then a FINAL paper. What more can be said without being repetitive? Sigh......

I redid it only because I have the APA nazi as a T.A. Automatic 3-5 points off for every assignment because of citations and/references.

e31056: Yes, I am getting very tired of writing about the same thing week after week. There are only so many ways you can say the same thing.

Does anyone else have a saboteur in their class? There is a woman (RH) in my group who finds it necessary to contradict and correct everyone's discussion boards. If someone writes that their case study family is a cohabiting family, she replies that the family is actually a binuclear family, and proceeds to give all of the reasons why. She has done it multiple times on different people's boards. I would take it personally if her DBs were good, however, they make no sense and are filled with APA errors. Any thoughts on how to handle someone like this? Thankfully there are only 2 more weeks of this class.

I tweaked it and added family info and reposted So my friend at work took this LAST summer and the same thing happened with this assignment. So they have known for at least a year that the assignment prompt was incorrect!!! Unbelievable.

Me 2006. I don't think anything can make this class interesting! I am not looking forward to week 5 assignments. What if nothing is happening in health care to write about next week? I will spend hours searching to find something to write 3 paragraphs about......
