@ simply complicated - thanks for the running head info. Apparently the TA's have missed that I was doing this wrong, until now that is. Thanks again!

Also - if anyone is taking Business Communications and need the Prentice Hall writing book for Professor F's class let me know. I have a used copy and will send it out to anyone who wants it for free.

The part that says Running Head should only be on the TITLE page though. The rest of paper should only say the title of your paper with the page number. Let me know if you need to know how to format it. I wrote all the steps down in the first class so I have it to refer to in the future.

Darn, I actually just ordered my book for Business Communications like 2 days ago. Although I only paid like $10 so it's ok. Thank you for the offer!

I got a 92.9%(A-). Just shy of an A :(. I guess I can't complain since I only put about 3 hours of work in each week, and went on a week long vacation. The quizzes are what dropped my grade. What I've definitely noticed between our last course and this course is that the assigned readings are usually not applicable to any of the assignments. Reading the assigned readings MIGHT have helped me with the quizzes, but that's doubtful.

I definitely need to step it up for stats though.

For anyone needing assistance: APA The Easy Way is the best book ever. It's $12, and it maps everything out for you in an applicable way. I haven't used anything else as an APA reference for our past two courses, and I haven't gotten dinged once for APA errors. Very good investment.

Thanks for the reply and the information. I looked through every email I have from OU and I don't have the admission packet. Just spent yesterday and 2 hours this morning trying to communicate with my advisor without any luck. Thanks again for the list of classes!

So no grade still for my assignment. However the TA submitted my final grade in. How is that possible? I wrote to the TA and she never responded since yesterday morning. I am about to write to the actual teacher. I worked hard on that paper and I wanted to see what she graded me. Ugh so annoying. I still feel trapped in this class!

This is from the syllabus when I took the class. One of the assignments was to interview a person from another culture and write a paper.

Assignments 4 @ 20 pts each = 80 total

1 @ 50 pts each = 50 total

52%

Quizzes 2 @ 30 pts each = 60 total 24%

Discussion Boards 4 @ 10 pts each = 40 total

1 @ 20 pts each = 20 total

24%

Total Points 250 Points 100%

For DB how do they award points? Is it by # of topics you present? I am confused
