Wow i am in aww, i was not liking my TA this entire 5 weeks, because i got dinged on almost every single assignment. So i was pleasantly surprised when i saw my week 5 grades; 100% for everything, except the quiz. Now that it is over i can say i really learnt a few things about different cultures plus i fine tuned my APA and grammar. Good luck to all and have a happy summer, while i am hoping for smooth sailing in my summer classes.

I cannot find the address to send the consent form to. It bad enough I waited until the last minute but now I cant find the address. Anyone know where it was located? Please and thank you :)

Try this if no one else replies: I got it off of the RN to BSN Knowledge Center

If you have a scanner you can actually scan it and email to the school of nursing at [email protected] put you PID in the subject line with the course number

From my week 5 tips:

Consent - You will need to complete the client’s consent and have it mailed to the school.

The Consent is located in the resource folder – as a PDF – print and sign by the client and send to the school. If you are interviewing someone in another location, you will need to mail the consent to them with a self-addressed stamped envelope to mail to the school. The address to the school is located in week 5 – under checklist, but I have put the address here also.

OK.....my grade suddenly got better....hmmm.....a curve indeed!

I have no grade yet for the DB or assignment. I think the TA should have a due date for when grades should be back just like we have one for when to hand them in. Hate the waiting game....

My last assignment was dinged for APA format issues, of freaking course!! I did not indent one paragraph. I had a running head but it says that I was supposed to actually put the words "running head" before my title. I have NEVER done that for any of my papers in any class and have never gotten dinged for it. So am I supposed to type in "running head" or not? I really don't know. I missed 3 points for the errors. Glad this class is done. I will take my A and move on to summer quarter fun, or not fun.

Per both OWL and the book, your title page should say

Running Head: TITLE OF PAPER

I got dinged for formatting issues the 2nd week in 451 for a similar error, so I'm super careful to always have it!

Curved quiz brought my quiz grade up to a 83%, and 100% on my DB and paper. Got my A in the course. Too bad for these stupid quizes though, I probably would have had a 99% overall if it wasn't for them.

Almost exact same grade here... I was able to keep my A. Whew.. hate the quiz questions, so unclear to me. Hope all courses aren't built like that.

Does anyone know a way to get a print out of grades to turn in for tuition reimbursement before final grades show up?

Specializes in peri-anesthesia services.

Still no grade :(

Specializes in Psych/AOD.

@ simply complicated - thanks for the running head info. Apparently the TA's have missed that I was doing this wrong, until now that is. Thanks again!

Also - if anyone is taking Business Communications and need the Prentice Hall writing book for Professor F's class let me know. I have a used copy and will send it out to anyone who wants it for free.

If you check on OWL - there is a copy of what a properly formatted APA paper looks like. I printed that out a year ago and keep it handy. I refer back to it quite a bit when paper time comes around
