I keep getting points off for not citing Bastable correctly. I don't know what I am doing wrong. Can someone show me the right way to reference the Bastable book.

Don't see one in my announcement section. I'm in 019 section. What did you do as far as the vision exam? Did you include a eye chart?

I honestly feel like I'm just copying from the sample assessment. My client is pretty healthy and I pretty much write the same thing the sample paper says for healthy assessments. How can you change that... you really can't. I got 25/25 on my last paper. I wrote my assessment out and then wrote a short narrative at the bottom. That is what I'm going to continue to do. I am caught up on the eye examine. I don't have the chart and on the sample page it says "use printable". Where is the printable page for the eye exam? Anyway I'm going to wing it again... One part of the assessment wanted us to assess the temperal pulse with the pulse rate on each side. I have never done that after being a nurse for 9 years. This is not a MD or NP class! Anyway, I never got the revise version so I guess I can only go off the original. What is so different from the original to the revised?

What revise version? I don't know what your talking about and why are they giving us this in the middle of the week!!!!

I feel like I am missing something in the objective assignment. I only have a table with four objectives listed. Is that all you have to do? Am I missing something.

I made a table in microsoft word. I am not sure that is correct but the directions do say " as you write objectives write them inthe format found in Table 10-1 and 10-2 on page 391 of Bastable" Who knows anymore....

I feel that the discussions are more work than previous classes I took. I thought these online course discussion boards werre to take the place of class participation in a regular classroom. I never raised my hand and referenced anything I said before in a regular classroom. Eh this weeks discussion seems very indeph this week. Lots of questions to answer... ugh week three!

What did you include in your Lymphatic System nursing assessment? I'm confused on exactly what I should cover in this section.

I also skipped the case studies. How can you get a deduction if this is a nongrade assignment? Maybe she will ding me on the assessment paper that is linked to the case studies.

I referenced our text for the assessment paper. That is where i found the material to do the assessment. However I did not quote anything... just left a reference haha. I'm working on my healthy people 2020 paper now... Someone left a question to the TA asking if we need an abstract. The TA responded with "Whenever APA format is required, if the instructions do not say "no abstract needed", then you should include an abstract. Thanks for checking!" I've never included an abstract... this class is BS! How long did everyone make their paper?

I was thinking the same thing!!! Maybe we are suppose to reference our text book... I have no idea.

Someone asked our TA about references and she said it was in the rubics. So I'm guessing that means we need them. So I put quotes explaining about the assessments tools and my patients function loss.
