NRSE 414 Cultural Diversity

Same here, i am so mad at myself especially since i changed 3 of the answers to the incorrect one.Anyway happy another class is done, see you in Art and Comp.

The syllabus is up for the art class. It doesn't look like too bad of a class at all. A few papers, but they are like 600 word papers, rather than pages. There are 4 quizzes I think,out but you can take them as many times as you want until you get a grade you are happy with. 2 Discussion posts a week, with an option to make an additional post each week for extra credit!! You do have to go out and actually view some art, and see a performance, which could be kind of fun though! Overall, given what we are used to it sounds like it will be a decent class. Hopefully business comp is too.

I just finished the Business Communication class and it isn't so bad. There is a lot of writing and you get very little direction from the instructor, at least with Professor F. There is also an opportunity to earn 10 extra credit points, which I did. Those extra points were awesome and allowed me to skip out of the last assignment, which would have been a horrible undertaking.

I just finished the Business Communication class and it isn't so bad. There is a lot of writing and you get very little direction from the instructor, at least with Professor F. There is also an opportunity to earn 10 extra credit points, which I did. Those extra points were awesome and allowed me to skip out of the last assignment, which would have been a horrible undertaking.

Oh great minds think alike! I did the same thing. I though that ethics training module was way to much work for only 10% anyway. Thank goodness for those extra credit points :yeah:

No change for me! My TA takes a while for the grades though, we generally don't get out assignment results until the friday after.

No change for me either. All grades are in. Just to reinforce to those who are discouraged by the grading here.....I got dinged on the final paper because ONE paragraph was not indented. I cannot tell you how many times I read over that thing too. Frustrating as heck, I know, but it's over now!

I agree, that last ethics assignment was ridiculous for a measly 10 points. I would think that a lot of others did the same as us.

Just checked my grades and the last quiz grade was changed again. I know that the quiz grades get curved when enough people do poorly on the quiz. I'm certainly okay with getting my grade raised from a B to an A on both quizzes. I told my husband about it and he said " well, the school is cheating then." Oh well. LOL

My last assignment was dinged for APA format issues, of freaking course!! I did not indent one paragraph. I had a running head but it says that I was supposed to actually put the words "running head" before my title. I have NEVER done that for any of my papers in any class and have never gotten dinged for it. So am I supposed to type in "running head" or not? I really don't know. I missed 3 points for the errors. Glad this class is done. I will take my A and move on to summer quarter fun, or not fun.

Got the grades back for the last module already! Wow did really well - overall - so I can say that I feel a lot better about this class now that the grades are back. I did lose 0.5 points for grammar - but hey the paper was fine!! Summer here I come - !!!! well till the next class in july.

Now I have a curve, and I have my discussion grade. 100%! The article I picked was definately NOT a nursing research article, can't believe how long I agonized over that. Now just waiting for the BIG grade.
